What we treat

By Trigger.

One comprehensive serum covers most of what you breathe; a second covers the common foods.
The pattern

Same Immune Mistake, Different Address.

Every allergic condition starts the same way: the immune system treats something harmless as a threat and releases histamine to fight it.Where that inflammation lands decides the diagnosis. In the skin it is eczema or hives. In the mouth it is oral allergy syndrome. In the airways it is asthma. In the sinuses it is one infection after another.Creams, inhalers and antibiotics treat the address. Immunotherapy treats the mistake.

Allergy-induced asthma symptoms

Airways That Overreact.

Asthma inflames and narrows the airways. In allergy-triggered asthma, the inflammation is caused by things you breathe.About 25 million Americans have asthma, and it affects nearly one child in ten. In allergen-induced asthma, inhaled pollen, dust mite debris, mold spores or pet dander make the immune system release histamine and other chemicals that swell the airway lining. The result is wheezing, a tight chest, coughing and breathlessness, often worse at night, in pollen season or during exercise on a grass field.
Why medications are not enough

Inhalers Open The Door. They Do Not Fix The Lock.

Rescue inhalers, controllers and steroids manage attacks. None of them change the allergy that keeps causing them.Uncontrolled asthma also closes off the usual next step: allergy shots carry too much risk of a serious reaction for these patients, so they are often told immunotherapy is not an option.Drops change that. Their far lower reaction risk makes them a common choice for asthmatic patients, including young children.
The treatment path

From Nebulizer To Normal Spring.

01
Confirm the triggersA 30-minute skin test or history review shows which pollens, molds, dust or animals set off the airways.
02
Start daily drops at homeSublingual immunotherapy desensitizes the immune system to those triggers over months. Keep your controller medications until your provider tapers them.
03
Watch the pattern changeClarissa, asthmatic since age two, started drops at four. Her mother counted the nebulizer uses that spring on one hand.
Questions

Asthma And Allergy

Is all asthma allergic? No, but allergy is the most common trigger. If your attacks track pollen seasons, pets, dust or mold, treating the allergy addresses the cause.
Can my child take drops for asthma?Yes. Drops are safe from about age three, and early treatment can interrupt the march from eczema to asthma.
Do I stop my inhaler? Not on your own. As the drops take effect, your provider adjusts controller medication. Keep a rescue inhaler available throughout.
